Some might like to spruce up their living space– I’d prefer to ‘farm’ up mine, by integrating some farm inspired decor into my Brooklyn apartment. Here’s what I’m liking at the moment! This print from Yee-Haw Industries for the front entry way: This adorable piglet print by animal photographer Sharon Montrose. I don’t know why, [...]

I believe these two artists would both fall under the category of ‘affordable, unique artwork’. They were found on completely separate web searches, but have similar styles and themes. Sandra Juto is an illustrator from Sweden. Her images are cheerful and whimsical. They remind me of a less trippy ‘Yellow Submarine’. I like her color [...]

Here are a few reindeer decorations I’ve found from three ‘go to’ kitchen and housewares chains (all of which I enjoy!). The first is from Sur La Table: a small reindeer votive. It’s simple and would look cute on a mantle or table, just as a casual decoration. The second is from Crate and Barrel: [...]

The store feels like a Modern Economy sale. I think I loved nearly everything in the store. It’s two stories and there [...]

I stopped in Le Village Marche tonight after dinner in Shirlington Village. I had been in there around Christmas of last year and liked it, but I was COMPLETELY impressed tonight. I literally could not stop pointing things out and ‘coo-ing’. The soaps, the candles, the wonderfully unique plates and cups, the stationary, the bags. [...]

I don’t have children, but I DO work with children for a living and so I enjoy looking on children’s websites/popping into stores. There are some incredibly unique toys/furniture/bedding designs etc I’ve found, that maybe I can post later… I came across two really cute Alphabet Animal posters that would look adorable in a nursery [...]
